It seems a bit out of focus to me... It could maybe benefit from some sharpening and some vibrance or clarity on the flower for focus. I am still a newbie myself so take my feedback with a grain of salt but I hope the suggestions help!

Newbies have opinions too mate. As another "newbie" I would say the same from my uneducated and untrained view point. Buy hey! This is the beginners forum. I look forward to the more experienced photographers feedback. I find I learn a lot by reading their comments to see if I can see what they do.

Definitely OOF. The time/date stamp really detracts from the image. I noticed it's not on any other photos in your gallery, so maybe a mistake? Either way it's still really out of focus.

Yes, this photo is all out of focus, there is no doubt about it. Its composition (centering the flower) doesn't appeal to me, either. It lacks in contrasts and saturation, too. And worst about it is the date stamp. There's one thing that definitely makes ANY photo look like a snapshot-only, and that is the date stamp. Make sure you switch that off from now on and forever.

For tall subjects, turn your camera to the vertical orientation.

One easy way to make your photos more attractive is .... get closer. If you think you are close enough, move in some more.

actually this is one of first ever pics taken ...and this is from a humble 10mpx benq digital camera.i'll put some more..i would need a suggestion...
