Great shot, the flash extender is a good idea-next on my wish list. I love taking pics of Apes, but light, fences and glass often make it quite challenging. I took a few good ones in Leipzig recently, mind.

Great shot, the flash extender is a good idea-next on my wish list. I love taking pics of Apes, but light, fences and glass often make it quite challenging. I took a few good ones in Leipzig recently, mind.

I'm very fortunate that this exhibit uses a moat to separate the visitors from the animals. We have two zoos in Chicago. The other zoo, the Lincoln Park Zoo, has thick glass within the ape exhibit. This makes it impossible to capture quality images at that zoo.
