Feminine Lighting Part Deux, Return of the Reflectors

So I had my friend stand in again for me to try to nail down the "butterfly" lighting style. Used a reflector, being held by the subject.

Thoughts on the lighting? I know the pose and bg suck.

I like the catchlight pattern that using an overhead light + under-chin reflector produces. The light is quite soft, and minimizes skin texture. She has fabulous skin and great teeth. She appears to have almost no makeup on, or at most, very light makeup; if she had heavier makeup on, this would look more "glam".

BRIGHTEN it up, and this image will POP! Big-time. It appears to be in the wrong key.

Also, I think the key light needs to be a trifle higher, but keep the nose shadow well off the upper lip and the catchlight in the eyes.

ETA: Obviously, just listen to Derrel and ignore me. Except about the phone number part.

So why do you keep shooting these? I'm not sure what is the point of shooting random shots if you are not trying to nail down some aspect of photography. I know I sound rude, but I'm honestly not trying to...I'm just trying to understand because you've posted a few similar photos but you are always apologizing for your shots. Don't apologize for your shots.

You ask how is the lighting, but you don't take any steps to blow out the background or pose her in a way to make her the most feminine. I'm just not getting the point of these posts.

Having said that, I think the lighting looks okay. Nothing glamorous, well exposed. Her black bra is a bit distracting--perhaps something white/lacy would blend better with her top. I dunno.
