Fence Post ~

The weather, time, and ants have all left their mark on this old fence post, that making for an interesting study in both form and texture as viewed against a backdrop of autumn color on an old farmstead.

That's cool. I say an old tree stump today that looked interesting like that but I didn't have my camera with me. It'll be there next time I go back.
I just occurred me, a pheasant laying over the top of that post would make for a good pic, or so I think.

Very imaginative image. Nice fall colors caught in the background. I have too agree with K9Kirk, a pheasent draped over the top of the post as an after-the-hunt shot would have been nice.
