Festive Christmas Photo

Ok, I took this about 2 weeks ago. I used a wine glass, ornaments, garland, and a couple candy canes to make it happen. Are the colors alright?

Not bad; concept is nice; some other colour of balls and the glass without tilt would do better? :scratch:

not sure I get the glass and balls thing. what is the reason for them? I like the candy canes.

Ummm, they are just props? This picture was just for fun, really.

I like the concept and the lighting, but I think it could do with some improvement.

You use a shallow DOF, thus forcing the sharpest part to be the main focal point of the image. In this case, that's just part of the wine glass and part of the ornament...not really interesting enough IMO. Maybe if you had something with a little more interesting detail as your focal point, it would be a 'stronger' image overall.
