Photos NOT OK to edit
So i took a photo from about 2 years ago and played around with it a bit. Blurred the back ground a bit, added a bit of temperature warmth, removed some distractions, added some light vignetting and finally added the word "Memories" . Trying to let the picture tell a story.

Bike seems hot--add some contrast? Vignette uneven? Crop to just above the text and enough to remove the stub of fence rail bottom left? Text distracting.

The bike is awesome! What character.

You did a lot of things right here - I like the blurred background, and the added warmth is just right.

Memories...I understand you're going for the nostalgic response with this great old bike, but personally I find the inserted text a bit cheesy. Sorry. You like it, so others may like it, too. But let your image stand on its own strength to evoke an emotional response.

The other thing is the vignetting. I think the darker tone is fine, but that hard oval needs to be feathered. I'm squinting at it and the oval is way too obvious - but easily feathered out.

Nice little scene, and the blue flowers are a bonus, as is the rough texture of the fenceline.

Okay first off I very much appreciate the feedback. I couldn't decide if the added text worked or not but after further looking at it I agree it looked cheesey.

So in this revision. I cropped a touch per CGW's suggestion and pulled back the temperature of the bike to try and tone it down a touch. Then I played around with the vignetting and feathered it in a bit more.

Didn't take much! Nice warm, nostalgic feel. The little scilla blooming near the fence rail are so Ontario springtime.
