Pretty pics, #2 is really nice. All of them display too many too deep shadows. I can see, that sun was low, still, no excuse, "zone system" is smiling at you.

Second one doesn't do much for me, I feel like these are about the contrast between cloud and rock. The horizons are not level, which doesn't always bother me, but it does here!

What if the horizon is hills and is slopping ?

I liked the massive rocks in shot #2 the most out of the three shots! I thought #2 was actually a relatively strong shot. I am guessing that the slight softness these have is some kind of issue with web compression/hosting. Cheers gary!

Maybe it is also, that HP5 in 35mm format is not the best film for a landscape due to large grain. Well, maybe you know some way to subdue that grain and achieve high sharpness at the same time. I wasted 100' on it and just switched to Tmax.

That's OK Gary, you recorded the true situation, it doesn't mean it will work visually in the picture.

That alright i go well with HP5 because i'm a crap lanscape photographer not my thing but i had to get out and shoot, i go to work in the dark and get home when its dark can't wait for Christmas holidays when i can get out in the day. I got HP5 because its good for street photography and now its winter and getting darker, probably get some FP4 in the summer
