how on earth did you get that close! lol.

i cant get upto 10 meters of a magpie never mind a dragonfly without if flying off, 1st is a very nice shot because of the angle.

the top one is what looks to be a black damselfly. the other is a damselfly as well. i have run up on the black damsel in only a few places.

all the damsels i see fold their wings along the back and have eyes that seem to attached to stalks at the sides of their heads.

most dragonflies at rest stick their wings out 90 deg. from the body and have very large eyes and sometimes 4 of them. they are also normally much larger than damsels.

i also like chasing both of them...lol!
