Very cool shot (it reminds me of an image that Dmitri posted a few weeks ago.) I like how the edge of the leaf looks sharper in the shadow than in the leaf itself.

So simple in its composition, and yet so full of emotion. And this while it is "only a leaf" (and some might say "bah!" here, but I don't). To me, not "only" a leaf. But A LEAF, a fallen one. Dry and brown, but resting in water. "Autumn" it says. Or this time maybe even more appropriately "Fall (-en)" .
