Finally spring

It's nice to have things (besides snow banks) growing in my front yard again...

I'm not quite as happy with this last one -- they were really tricky to shoot, but if I see another bunch, I'll try again. In any event, I'm very glad it's spring again.

Nicely seen stuff.

I hear in Ontario, Canada they only have 3 to 4 feet of snow left... Ohio, being fairly well south of there is no doubt feeling Miami-like by comparison.

Most of my family is in WI, so I make a point to ask them how their weather is whenever I have the chance. ;-)

The winter was uncharacteristically long here -- I feel for folks who haven't seen green grass yet. Hang in there!

Thanks - 2.8 on a macro shot gets pretty thin! This is the 100mm f/2.8, and I'm generally pretty happy with the bokeh it produces (a little nervousness in the flower at the TL of the 2nd photo -- maybe a bit of a breeze?). When I bought it, I figured I might be able to get double-duty out of it by using it for some portraits, too. I'm definitely a fan of this lens.
