Drove home this evening and noticed that the sunset was especially vibrant, incredibly saturated and casting a red light on everything. I hopped parked the car, grabbed my 6D out of the bag, and ran to the train tracks behind my apartment complex.

It might not be the best composition, but I was just blown away by the colors. Saturation of the sky is exactly how it was, it was incredible, and the best sunset of my past four years in Davis, CA.

Hope you enjoy it!

I like it even with the ubiquitous power lines.

Awesome photo and colors. I love the red and contrast with the blue sky.

I've noticed this time of year the sky really gives great colors. I have some from this same time frame last year too with vibrant colors.

The colors are nice but the crooked horizon and extreme keystoning are horribly distracting.

Wicked sky but the foreground and definitely the train need some brightening. Not giving the train some love is a mistake. The distortion is perhaps a tad too much.
