Another bad year for wildfires out west. This is a small fire near Mt Shasta this summer.

Thanks Dean, it used to be that Mt Shasta always had a full snow cap all year. The drought has changed its iconic profile.

I like it but I do see what you mean. Color looks surreal. Hard to put a finger on exactly what seems off. Maybe a lot of haze in the air from the fire causing colors to look funky.

Very nicely done! The B&W looks much crisper than the color, with good effect. I like the color one as well, because it looks like a color postcard from the 60's with the haze in the air.
