I know I am a little late on the 4th of July pictures, but I was pretty proud of how they turned out!

Every year we can, the boys like to spend the 4th watching the Jet Car Nationals. (Honestly, I just go for the fireworks. :giggle:) They do put on a good show! Somehow this year, DH managed to get us into the pit parking, so I had a new view of the scene.

I really pushed these files to their limits trying to bring out the clouds- so I am sure theres some quality degradation, but I think it was worth it.

I am wanting to print either number one or two on metal as a Christmas gift for a friend who went along with us- I am having trouble deciding which, so your votes are appreciated. :-)

#2 no doubt. every other vote is wrong.

I like the look of the fireworks in #1 better, but I like the colors of #2 better. They're all great shots, and I'm glad I don't have to choose! :)

Both are great but #2 screams 4th of July much more than #1 due to more reds.

Number two for the win! they all came out really nice, you really can't go wrong with whichever you choose.

Number Two. All the way to the wall.

2. All are very nice.

:giggle: Looks like you intimidated all the posts following this one. I've don't recall ever running into a such a near-unanimous vote here before.

Thank you! I agree with you, and I think thats why I am so torn! I really like the blues, personally- but I also prefer how none of the light trails are running out of the frame in the first one. I appreciate you chiming in!

Yes! The colors definitely capture the scene as a specific memory better. That should definitely carry weight in deciding. Thank you!

Thank you, Jeff! Sometimes, I find the decisions with no wrong answer are the hardest to make. It sounds like number 2 is locked in now.

I'm not sure why, but this made me LOL. Thank you, Derrel. I am excited to see how it looks in print!

2. All are very nice.
Thanks! Should be an easy choice then, right? Just flip a coin!

I dont want to vote wrongly so number 2 for me lol

:giggle: @Braineack's work on his intimidation methods is paying off then? Thanks for voting!

Not so unanimous - I like #1 better than #2. I like the less traditional colors and the pattern of the fireworks is more balanced and visually appealing.

I agree number two. The colours make it stand out more however I do like the cleanliness and composition of the first one better.

VERY nice.
Makes me want to shoot the 4th next year.
Thank you!

I look forward to seeing what you come up with next year!

I think I agree with you! I feel like the first one has the best composition, and I love the colors! But, after considering all the thoughts on here, I am feeling this specific recipient will appreciate the traditional colors and wont even notice the cluttered fireworks.

I agree number two. The colours make it stand out more however I do like the cleanliness and composition of the first one better.

Thanks for adding your 2 cents into the mix! It is always appreciated.
