Pretty good,although I feel there needs to be more room above the fire works.

These are very nice - I like the first one best. I do agree with Digibill though, not enough room on top, to which I would add, a bit too much room on the side. These might have looked better in portrait mode.

I feel, now, that I will start out shooting in portrait orientation.
No offense to your work, These are nice shots, but a there's a lot of dead space on the sides.

Depending on how wide an area the fireworks are covering, they could be taken in landscape mode with less zoom and more room above, then crop the photo into portrait proportions. That allows you to adjust the location of the display on the picture, giving you a little more freedom in the composition.
