Firmware question for Canon 50D

I just got my new Canon 50D today and can't wait to test it out. It came with firmware version 1.0.1 installed and i saw that version 1.0.3 is now available for download. Do I need to update to version 1.0.2 before i get 1.0.3 or can i go straight to the latest version?

P.S. i didn't know if "Beyond the Basics" was the right place for this question....

You should be able to go directly to the newest version, but if not, that info should be available on Canon's site where you download the update.

Thanks Big Mike appreciate it, I've gone ahead and instlled the latest version and it works. The noise reduction has improved significantly even at 3200 iso. Can't wait to try it out!
