First attempt at B/W

So I visited a Pioneer Village yesterday (Really wasnt a very good one). Anyways I took a few shots and then took a stab at converting them to B/W and added a few filter effects etc and here's what i came up with. Thought i would share.

Like the steam tractor, would've been fun to drive. There's a place like that here 2 towns over but they want $50 admission these days.

This place was by donation this time of year but really it was barely worth that. So many things just piled up in barns that could have been displayed like this. Why let them just collect dust in a barn, where you can barely see them.

Nice set of images! That second one, they still drive those in Amish country. Actually, they probably still use most of those.

Not a canon shooter- but can you go to 'picture style' in your menu and set the camera to 'see in B/W"?

Very nice series. I am always intrigued by scenes of antiquity. B&W seems to be best for these shots.
