Finally got to go outside to try my new lens today. I know gulls aren't the most exciting bird, but I figured they make as good target practice as anything else, that way I might know a little more when the time comes to shoot something a little more exciting! It was definitely a challenge. I ended up setting the camera to take multiple shots at a time, and switched to manual focus. That way I could kind of just hold down the trigger while tracking them trying to keep focus. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
