Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Took the photo today of a museum in town, and merged it with an old postcard photo that I had. I'm trying to do this w/ some other buildings and old photos that I have of my city. Not really quite sure how to get the blending right of the buildings.

It's a cool idea. I think I would show more of the postcard. The idea would show more if more than just upper left part was the postcard. I don't know if I'd go exactly half, but a little more.

What I was really trying to do was put the old buildings that are on the side of the main building back into the photo.

The buildings to the left are not there any more, and there was also more buildings to the right side.

Here is a MUCH improved edit...

Hi Robb,

Neat idea -- so hey we're nearly neighbors. Snapped this shot last time I paddled by:

I'm down in St. Louis.

P.S. Hi everyone else -- please excuse the personal content -- that's Robb's bridge and waterfront along the Mississippi.

Howdy Neighbor! I get down to STL quite a bit during the Summer, but Quincy is my home. I've got several shots of the bridge, kind of Quincy's iconic symbol.

Oh I got you. I didn't know you were aiming for the building that weren't there anymore. I thought you were doing like part of the main one postcard and part photo(which I think is cool). But that is awesome, and it looks good. You should show it to your city hall or something.

Who owns the copyright to the post card photo you used?

A large part of the blending problem is that in your photo, the building is under exposed.

It was published in 1913, so it is part of public domain. Even if the building were properly exposed, I was more interested in getting the buildings lined up correctly
