First attempt with Bronica

Spent a day at driftwood beach.

F22 at 1/15 second with ilford 400 film

F4 at 1/30 second with ilford 400 film

Are you using a filter. In the first I might have tried a red filter if there was blue sky, definitely an orange filter. The second might also be a candidate for an orange filter. The slowish shutter speeds with 400 film have me thinking the some filters were used, but I would have expected more contrast.

Looks like it was a fun day to be out with the Bronica.

Just bought a 23a red filter. I was trying to decide if I should get a 23a, 25, or 29? I read that Ansel liked his 23a, so I went with that one.

That first one's kind of cool, almost infrared looking, and surreal.

But they do look rather light, lacking contrast. It looks like it was sunny, so a lower ISO film would probably be a better option.

I learned to go for a 'black' black and a 'white' white somewhere in the image. You have the white but not a dark enough black. But it's still a cool photo.
