First camera, first shows at the American museum of natural history

It was a bit tough for me to shoot animals behind glass. There were some reflections, and sometimes i couldn't get enough light. For close ups i use smaller aperture like f/5.6 but for the larger overall views of the landscapes and full diorama I would use up to f/8.0, correct me if i am wrong. l am seeking for cc on my pictures, on my exposure, composition, how to deal with lighting and white balance-i mainly used warmed and tungsten, i also used Photoshop to do some retouching.
