You can't go wrong with B&H and the Rebel is a great camera, I still shoot with the original Digital Rebel. Enjoy it. DSLR has a good suggestion about getting the 50mm 1.8 lens when you can afford it.

One thing to remember no matter what the ratings from wherever if you see a deal that is waaaay lower than anyone else there is a problem. Shooping around for a good deal is one thing but you need to look out for scams.

Save up another $2-300 so you can afford all of the things you'll need, like a spare battery, memory, a tripod, a, 50mm f/1.8...etc.....
