First couple of shots from my 28-300mm!

Got the lens yesterday for my D700. It was just sitting there today when a reasonably rare bird ( NZ bush pigeon) flew in. I grabbed the camera, no prep, no photoshop, photos taken at 300mm due to distance away which I'm told not to expect too much. I have along way to go, but very happy.

That first bird shot looks nice I like how the bokeh blends with the whole picture.
