First D70 Pics (could be large?)

Got to play with my new camera a little bit on the way home from work yesterday -

They're building lots of new offices up the road. This is thru the windscreen -

And I wandered round a field for a few minutes -

Very nice set of photos. On comment, however, they all seem just a little bit dark to me. Just a thought.

yeah I agree with Chase... btw... could you post one or paste a link to the shot taken with d70 in the highiest resolution? I'd like to see the grain there... and the true quality of it

The darkness of them must be due to my monitor - I'm only using a laptop, and they look fine on here. I'll have to see what I can do about that. Mentos, I'd be happy to do that if I knew how to - they're hosted on Snapfish and on my hard drive - if there are instructions I can follow I'll do it. I'm shooting in jpeg only at the moment as Nikon Capture isn't included (well, 30 day trial only) with the D70 and I believe I need it to shoot in RAW.

They look perfect to me on my new TFT monitor, too. I wouldn't want them any brighter. They make me really happy, since they show what I might see myself (or do see, in fact) when I got out and about .
