First Digital camera- help.

I've been using a film camera for about six months now and because it's getting fairly expensive, I'm also going to purchase a digital camera.
I haven't owned a decent digital camera, so I need some help picking one.
Preferably not something incredibly complicated. I'm looking to spend between 300 and 450 dollars.

For just the body? What lens do you already own? Brand?

I just have a standard lens on my film Camera, so I'm trying to get both a body and lens.

Ok, standard len like a 50mm f... or standard zoom lens. Still would like to know brand? Canon? Nikon.
