First DSLR - Need config options

If after everything, you still can't make up your mind, here is the main thing to consider.

Do you like that red line that is on the outside of the Nikon, just below the shutter button? Yes, then buy Nikon. No, then buy Canon.

/\ lol if both cameras fit you good and your comfortable with both then the above post will work as well as anything. i looked at cannon and nikon and the nikon just felt more comfortable in my hand. either one will take great pics. personally i'd probably lean towards cannon since you allready have a decent lens for it.

Update on this, it's down to two options:

Canon T1i
50mm MkI lens
18-55mm IS
EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS

OR

Nikon D90
18-55 VR
