Never have done this before, but gave it my best. Here is a few shots from the series.

I like these...However, I always tell my couples "when kissing look into each others eyes and DON'T PUCKER!"
It sounds crazy but it works. That gets rid of the fish look and helps. Try catching them right before the lips connect.

I actually like #5 the best, but it's not necessarily a maternity shot
I don't think these are bad. Especially for your first time, but the lighting seems a little harsh. I like dramatic lighting for maternitys so you have that part down, but I'm wondering if there is a way you could soften it a bit. Her belly has hotspots in some.

very nice job. I would crop number 2 differently because there is no detail in the pants. Maybe crop it to just below the belly.
