Two sorts of flowers are meanwhile up and above ground, whereas the snowdrops have been up for weeks now, as buds they got then totally snowed under, but that doesn't matter to snowdrops, now they are like this:
(They are small flowers, only about three inches in height).
And here are the crocus-photos... and someone beat me to these (why can't I remember his name now? editing in: ah, yes: the tinman ).
This is how they started a couple of days ago, and now, with the sun shining and temps as high as the middle 60's (15 - 17 °C), they have opened:
