thanks ewick and no, they were actually holding a frame, i just composed it real close.

Ether crop it completely out or make it vary obvious they are holding a frame.

I'm still trying to decide on the lighting. I like the rim light, but it seems the key light is quite flat. How did you light their faces?

I don't object to the frame idea, I think it is fine.

i lit them up with a reflector. The reason they arent as lit as you and i may have liked is because i did not have an assistant -.- I used the reflector leaning on a step ladder with no clips so it was flying all over. Was quite frustrating actually but i did what i could with what i had.

Off to one side, either on a hand-held bracket, or (better) on a light stand triggered remotely (wireless or corded). Either slightly above or level with the model's faces, not lower.

With as many models as you have here, a very large softbox would be a good choice. Or a large umbrella. Or you could try moving the speedlight farther away from the subjects, even behind the camera position as long as your own shadow does not enter the frame.

Your white balance ranges from yellow, to orange to green. Warm/orange is fine, but you really need consistency.
Lose the frame shot. It's beautiful and clear, but the cropping and the little bit of frame in there really kills you off. Besides-it's really tacky.
Your poses look great. Very simple, but I really love the first one! The third the arms leading you out of the image hurts a bit, but it will crop nicely into a closer head shot of the three.

Hey MleeK thanks for the great cc. The W/B is like that because i just wanted to show different edits. I have each photo in 3 different edits for variety so they could choose which ones they liked more, but i have 3 consistant W/B sets. As far as the frame one goes, i originally cropped the frame out but they insisted to leave it in bcuz they loved it like that so it is what it is on that one I finally got a picture up that someone said they loved! ty so much! i am continuing to work harder on my photography skills

Different edits are one thing, you never want to show a skin tone as green or blue. Sick or dead is not flattering.

I completely agree. This works WAY better than the close crop.
