First Irises to Bloom

My wife has 1/2 dozen+ varieties of Irises planted in the garden. First to bloom every year is a dwarf variety that opened up Thursday this week. They're hard to photograph and I'm never entirely happy with the results. Irises are supposed to be elegant but these are just sort of stubby. Fuji X-T2 w/60mm Rodagon.

Very nice! I've found photographing flowers is more challenging than it looks.
