Spent the weekend camping with the Cub Scouts. As the 'man with the plan', my daytime really saw no free time for pictures. But once they were all in their tents and relatively quiet.....
So this is my first attempt at shooting the night sky. In the first I caught the satellite just coming into view in a previous shot and had to make a quick adjustment to hopefully get this one. Pretty happy with it.
Then I wandered over to the shore. There was a lot of brush so it was going to be framing rather than being able to find a gap for a view. The clouds in the shot became a downpour about 7:00 the next morning. We had a lodge with a kitchen to run to for breakfast, so it really was more of a good story than a ruined trip. Anyway.....
