Lightbox made of cardboard box and tissue paper. Light source was just light from my window coming into my living room.

This is the result:

The shadows are unavoidable since I only had light coming from one direction. I still think they look pretty good though.

Light Box: $3
Light source: Sunlight
A great picture to sell my lens on ebay: Priceless

Nice! You can whiten it up more in photoshop, but the shadows don't bother me.

Can you take a pic of your box??? I need to make one this weekend!

Thanks breeana. They are actually pretty white, it just looks off from the gray background on this site. When I posted them on a white background, they were almost invisible.

Lightbox: This is not mine exactly, but mine looks identical. I took this from the tutorial that I built mine off of:

Here's the link to the tutorial, but it's pretty self-explanatory. It took about 15 min to build and cost about $4-$5 for tissue paper and posterboard.

Awesome, thanks for the link - did you use the two flash units like the example? I only have a 420ex which can't come off camera. Boo! I have two shop lights, but have never had any success using them as they are too bright and hot.

Duuur....nevermind. I see you used only natural light. Even more impressive!

I think those are great product shots...

My only real issue is the reflection on the glass.

But, removing the filter could solve the problem, or at least reduce it.
