First Lightning Bolt!

This is my first real attempt at shooting Lightning.

Location: Florida (Gulf Coast side, out at sea)

Camera: Nikon D7100
Lens: Nikon 28-70mm 2.8
Lens Setting: 52mm
ISO: 320
Time: 1.2s
F-Stop: 5
Tripod
Cable button

No, not really. But we did get one on friday and I went out and got a few shots.

Actually, A lot of what you see came straight out of the camera...there is very little difference from the original and the finished photo. All I did was adjust contrast, highlights, sharpened, and crop.

I was very very lucky to get this shot....just barely got it in the corner of my lens.
