LOVE THEM!! I think 5 and 6 could use a small bit of fill light but otherwise nice set!

Thanks!! : ) I was pretty happy with them since it was my first time using my flash and my first newborn shoot! : ) I agree with you on 5&6 now that i look at them they could use a little more :)

Why are they all B&W?

Uhh... I liked all the b&w ones better and most of them were because thats how she wanted them done.

So sweet! I don't have a lot of c&c but the backdrop looks wrinkled. Do you fix that later?

I don't hate them, which is a big statement coming from me as I hate almost all newborn sessions.

Can't tell if being snarky or serious.....

I really like #4.

The first has a weird shadow under the blanket that runs across the baby where the flash couldn't reach. And I don't like the focus in the third photo. My eye focuses on...well....the part that's in focus, which is the top of the baby's head.

In number 5, the background is just too visible for my liking.

Yes the sheet was wrinkled and i didnt really pay attention to it when i was putting it up guess thats what i get for doing it at 12 in the morning. : ) And yes i did fix it later i guess i just didnt fix it in a couple of those shots and i noticed that right before you said something.

I was being serious. : )

Thanks! $ was one of my favs too! :) Yeah Im sure some of them I may have had the flash a little wrong and stuff since it was my first time ever using one. In #3 I meant to do that some people like and some don't. I need to fix that in #5 and make it look a little better :)\

Thanks for the comment!

These are GREAT!!! I am no newborn photo expert but here are my suggestions: Skin on skin is more intimate. having mom and dad embracing the child without clothing in photos 5-7 would be more intimate and evokative. 2 and 3 are awesome poses but look unsharp at the eyes (or eye lashes). I really like the blur otherwise, lighting and pp is super!!! Well done!!

1,2,3, and 4 ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE them...you really captured such peace and tranquility......what eqip did you use?
