Just curious, why the decision to post them all in b&w? Would love to see some color in a few of these.

They were taken in black and white, not edited later. It's how she wanted them. I have one colored on me but the others have to be uploaded from a computer, mines broken.

You will get more and better help if you:

1. allow editing
2. post fewer pictures in each thread (if there are several alike, pick what you think is the best one)
3. number the pictures.

That last colour shot would have been an awesome shot if you could have come in very close from camera right with a large silver-gold reflector and knocked down those shadows a bit, and yeah, you've got to get her to smile. You're the photographer, that's your job! Tell jokes, throw something at her, whatever it takes to get different expressions.

Yeah, she wouldn't listen to me 😀. I was mad about it but I do kinda like the strong, fierce look it portrays.

Did you miss the part in bold? The expression is fine, but not the same one for all shots.
