First Photo for C&C

Good afternoon TPF. Here's my first photo for C&C. It was taken during a recent winter vacation. Please let me know what you think. Don't be afraid to be honest, as I'm very new to the hobby. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Usually, im not a fan of selective coloring, but this kinda works
I like it, and the concept, maybe if he was centered a bit more?
Idk, i like it though, i think its a nice shot

I don't think he should be centered, I would have taken it from behind him to see what he was looking at. Also I'm not a fan of selective coloring and I don't think it works here.

I don't think centering him will help. In fact, I think he should be moved to the right. What he's looking at is part of the content.

White balance is a little on the blue side, though. Otherwise, it's a good shot.

Thanks for the quick responses. The selective coloring thing was more just an experiment, just playing around in Photoshop. As far as shooting from behind him, it just wasn't possible given he size of the bridge and the lens I had with me. Here is the original shot and another angle I was able to take. both photos haven't been touched in photoshop yet.
