The first red X appears to be exposed and focused well, but the composition lacks a real point of interest.

The second red X is more interesting, but I'm not sure what it really says to me. It's important to try to capture the emotion of the moment with your Red Xs.

btw, I'm totally just playing around. Don't take it seriously. I look forward to seeing your pics when you get the red Xs sorted.
