This is my first photo with my Alpha! I hate the stock lense and I had no time to learn the camera before I shot this. Enjoy!

Anyway, your firsty is a good start I'd say. A very calm image.

Some people will say you should stick to the "rule" of thirds (e.g. in this one having the horizon on the boder line between the upper two thirds and the lower third).

I am not a friend of rules, but for this image this would reduce the amount of "boring" brown grass in the foreground. But then again, I sort of like this grass

A technical aspect: watch your horizon .. it is tilted a bit

I look at the photo and see just the opposite I love the grass. I believe that the sky might be slighty cut off, drawing away from the natural beauty of the trees. I hear the thirds rule all the time and the truth is I find that rule very hard to understand..
