I have been a bit scared to post on here but here is goes, im rather new to all this but just wanted to see what you experts thought of this.

This was one i did a little while back. well it was my first attempt

all I did was adjust levels and add a bit of contrast, smooth his skin (he has a bit of acne)

one other thing that you will learn in time, from the angle, it looks like the branch is coming from out of his head, if you would have moved camera left or right a few inches, that branch would have been in a different location.
Just things to look for, I still forget occasionally also.
