First post - American Le Mans finale

My first post here after lurking for a while. These photos were taken at Laguna Seca in California during the finale of the American Le Mans series. My second time with panning (my first outing had horrid results).

All shots takens using a nikon d70s on shutter priority and sigma 70-300. I need a fast lens for night shots

Great work. I love the angles too. You feel the speed and the action.

The exhaust note on the DB9-R is incredible.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, the exhaust note of the aston is great, a stark contrast to the turbine-like sound of the audi r10.

Great shots! Very nice job getting sharp focus on the cars while still giving a great feel for the speed involved, by the blurred background and wheels.

Awesome shots! They must have made some pretty good noise, but the Aston does sound brutal. 1st one would be my favorite.
