Hi all, im chris and I've been shooting now for around 8 months. just bought some lights and a background a month or so ago and thought id get my son (Orin) in to see how you photograph difficult kids....... I have no experinece with lights (or photography really) besides having a crack over the duation of the 8 months. I must say im addicted! As for the shoot..... shooting kids in the studio is bit of a pain the arse aint it..


All in all it went well even though i had around 9 mins shooting time with Oz as his attention span is worse than mine! Anyway just wondered what you lot thought of these and if you have any tips for improving:

I think you did a fine job. Catch lights are at 10 and 2, key light camera left is at least 1/2 a stop or a full stop brighter than your fill on camera right, nice shading overall. Well done.
