First Post, Some Photos from Afghanistan

Hello all,

Started taking pictures about 18 months ago and started getting more serious during this deployment to Afghanistan. Here are some of my pictures so far, many more on my flickr account.

Many of these are of people, but I apologize that a couple are not, however I didn't want to make a different post for each picture that is a slightly different genre. I think they all have people in them, some are just far away as a contextual element instead more-so than the sole subject.

It is pretty beautiful, even down south where it is pretty desert-like. I'm sure the mountains up north are 10 fold more dramatic and photogenic than down here.

So you are in the Army or what? BTW.. I love squatting like that. My friends keep making fun of me hahahaa. I can squat like that for long time. Most americans cant even balance them self with their feet flat on the ground. Then their blood circulation stopped after a minute

Great pictures! Loves 4 and 7, very similar composition, but great! Both taken from your FOB? Where and with who were you deployed?
