First Post, some recent shots

Hey all I just recently got into photgraphy, I bought an S1 IS. I'm looking for some critiquing on these pictures, I'd like to know ways I can improve. Any tips and advice is welcome

would of been nice to have some land in picture 3, other then that not bad

1st shot is awesome (crop out a bit more sky)
2nd shot lacks content, and the horizon should be in the top 3rd, or bottom third of the frame, depending on what you are looking for in content.
3rd shot is excellent

IMO you have a great start!
welcome to TPF.. read everything you can in here, and you will find it all to be very educational.
