You clipped the shadows on the dog's face, there's no detail left there now.

Cute Dog, only thing I would have to say is you can't really see the detail of the dog's face, it gets lost. I'd say work on not loosing some of the details of the pictures, but you did a nice job for your first time!

I agree that the vignetting is a *bit* offputting, but overall I like the image. Good setup, great composition, a *little* lighter wouldn't hurt (up the brightness or lower the contrast a bit - if you're using an Adobe product you can usually add fill light pretty easily that will take care of the problem). Only reason I'd say that is because his head is black it's tough to see any detail.

If your in photoshop, use a curves adjustment layer to try and bring back those shadow details. Also, i agree with those above that the vignetting is a bit distracting.

Thanks alot guys, i'm using lightroom.
I will have another go later, i will try fill light or dodge the face. I will get rid of the vignetting and upload later.

Interesting shot, I like it. Shadows are a little clipped and i would bring the overall exposure up. Other than that, Nice work.
