Works great! Great job with the composite. Shadow looks very real. I'm amazed you could PP that much more lightness to your face.

I used a Gradient map for skin tones and dodge/burn with frequency separation for retouching. levels and curves combine with duplicated layers ( soft light and screen mode) to lighten things up, trying not to affect saturation.

I think you did a great job! The hands threw me at first, because they look really unnatural. But upon further viewing I saw that you intended to have a somewhat whimsical physical distortion. Nice work.
