When referring to yourself on your website or facebook page, how do you refer to yourelf? Do you say, "I will be conducting a seminar..." or "<Your name> will be conducting a seminar..."

Jason thinks referring to one's self in the third person is creepy.

I would say, "I will be conducting a seminar." Third person is a big turn off for me. I would leave a website if it is in third person, unless it is someone super famous that has others doing many things for them.

I hate when people refer to themselves in the third person. It makes me want to punch people in the face.

It tells me something about the person that I don't think they want me to know.

That, and it strikes me a kind of pretentious.

"I'm just soooo busy that I have to get "someone else" to write about me."

Lol
