for some reason number 5 really does it for me. I think with the stone or whatever she is standing on being blown out it almost gives her a floating feeling, its kinda eerie.

Do you have the digital original for number one? instead of a solid black and white I think a desaturated look (very faint colors) would work great for this shot, but maybe I am way off. just a thought!

Ya i have a Digi Origi of it .... not on this computer though.... when i get my other comp hooked up .... i plan on actually bringing out the purple in her wings with the history brush and all that jazz but i agree on the desaturated look

and for the blown out stone.... theres a major purpose for that stuff bein blown out.... quite a favorite of the set for me, its called, "Bora Ora"
