First Shoot C&C

This is my first assignment for my photography class. We were required to shoot some local sculptures on our campus. I would love some feedback on it and tell me if I'm wrong but I feel as though the sky is a little noisy. I think I had the ISO a little to high.

First thing that comes to my mind is why didn't you shoot this from the other side (the side with the sunlight hitting it)?

I loved the glow of the sun off of just the front and there are tons of cars to maneuver around. This sculpture is right next to a parking space so I couldn't get enough of the sculpture in it to get the shot that I wanted.

decrease the dof to better blur the background trees. the sharpness ist not the best, but i don't know if it's a matter of hand shot or the camera set up.
