First shoot- yikes

I am brand new to photography. This is from my first practice shoot. It was a cloudy evening. What can I do to improve shooting in these conditions... Editing tips? I know I need lots of practice!

This is under exposed. So use flash. I hate this pose. Neck rolls. You gave her neck rolls. it only works when you cover those up with hair.

WB is way off.

Your image is a little underexposed.. as see in the gray shirt, when it should be white. Either a reflector or fill flash would have helped to illuminate your subject a bit more, and make it stand out from the background better. Flash would have also allowed a lesser exposure in the background, so the that sky would not be white. The pose is not the best... since it makes her look heavier than she is... see how the front of the shirt kind of pooches out? I also removed some excessive green from the image.. WB was off a bit..

WB and Exposure, I knew were off. Thank you! So I will nix this pose. She saw it and liked it. I thought it was cute, but i agree on the pooch and neck roll. So fill flash or reflector next time! I was visiting family out of state, so I did not bring my reflector. Thank you again
