First shots of 2022

I made another trip down to the Hiawassee Wildlife Refuge in Meigs County, TN today. I played around with my 2X extention on my Sigma 150-600 Sports lens. I hate that I have to manually focus. Using a tripod helps. Here are a few I was able to get. Not some of my best work, but they will do.

That's a very nice set! I really like #1. Does the 2x actually give you 2x (up to 1200mm)? Manual focus with a DSLR is a PITA, because it is so touchy. I have a 1.4x for my Sigmas, and a tripod definitely helps.

At least 2X. I shot with my 5d today. The 7d gives another 300.

Thanks. I actually raised the exposure a half stop because of the dark clouds.
