first shots with 350D exercising

hey guys...i just received the 350D canon and its very cool...ive started taking pic but ya the subject arent great cuz its all black around here and there is nothing to photographs so here we go with some stupid objects :lmao:

hmm and could you post one in it's original size and resolution? Because when I see the lemon shot, I'm afraid it is a bit grainy... I just want to have a closer look at 350D

That is some noise in there. What ISO was the camera set to? Looks pretty bad to me. I have a 20d, since your camera is using the same sensor and processor, I'm surprissed to see that kind of strong noise.

I just checked the EXIF data of the lemon shot and the ISO was set to 1600. Quite high, but I still think the noise is a little too much compared to the 20d.

1600 is almost guaranteed to have noise at this point in time. I don't care what sensor you have. ;-)

agreed. 1600 is crazy high. i rarely go over 200 just to keep it sharp.

True, but thats a bit too much. I'll post a pic later, shot with ISO 1600 as a comparison.
